Winter is cold and very smokey in UB. It was not so smokey years ago. While jogging got a panorama pictures.

With the mouse the picture can be turned around to all directions.

Long time no see.

A new addition is this T-shirt store, done by a friend. It is for non profit reason. Let is see how it goes.

Have seen many times how our websites get crashed sometimes, including this one. Luckily, the database still existed. Also the main website mongoliatraveltips.com has to go through sort of a compulsory upgrade. Interestingly, inadvertently recovered former picture gallery.

A friend of mine asked me to edit tech and engineering articles of  Mongolian version of  Britannica Encyclopedia. Reluctantly I accepted. After starting to edit, I turned it back as too much time was spent on it – after first 100 or so articles.

But still under intense request I had to take it again. Not sure if I can deliver enough by the deadline.

From Bayan Ulgii, we headed to Hovd to catch flight to UB. On the way we passed by Tsambagarav.

Having visited the petroglyph gallery, we moved to see an eagle hunter’s family. But it had snowed during the night. Plowing through snowy trail, we visited a family.

After the treks, the tour continued to Tsagaan Salaa, a place  with a gallery of rock paintings (petroglyphs).

A lot of modern day graffiti is found too.
